How can we best prepare our children for the future?

I think that it is becoming exceedingly important that we teach our children how to respect the environment, and to live sustainably. If we ingrain our children with the moral responsibility to take care of the Earth so it will continue to take care of us, than they will carry that responsibility with them throughout their lives, and hopefully, will spread their values to others.
